Rammed Earth Wall
We drew inspiration from the iconic travertine formations of ancient Rome—think the weathered, porous surfaces of the Colosseum and Roman bathhouses, where natural mineral deposits create subtle tonal layers and delicate pitting. This flexible stone translates that timeless architectural heritage: its soft, porous texture and earthy hue variations mirror the organic beauty of natural travertine, merging classical Roman elegance with the practical versatility of modern flexible material.
Texture
This flexible stone replicates the tactile character of hand-rammed earth: horizontal strata of varying density, where each compacted lift reads slightly differently in tone and grain. Fine mineral particles surface across the bands, giving a matte, sandy touch that softens under raking light rather than reflecting it. The layering is subtle and irregular—never mechanical—and its malleable base preserves this stratified detail even when wrapped around curves, bringing the grounded warmth of earthen architecture to surfaces natural rammed earth could never reach.
