At Co-living Office Garden in Jakarta, architecture and planting come together in a workplace shaped by nature. More than a conventional green office, the building uses sculptural forms to explore how people and nature can share a space through both practical design and artistic expression.

01. Making Architecture Part of Nature
Warm golden-brown 21PARKHOUSE® Natural Wood flexible stone covers the exterior walls. In sunlight, its timber-like grain gives the building a soft sheen and a calm, welcoming character.

The design elevates greenery well beyond the ground plane, integrating planting throughout multiple levels. Recessed planters soften the structure’s industrial massing and create pockets of natural microclimates, embedding the architecture seamlessly into the landscape.
02. An Urban Oasis Within Reach
Natural Wood continues across the interior walls, carrying the exterior palette indoors. Large windows bring daylight into the office, while plants and warm surface textures create a relaxed setting with the atmosphere of a woodland retreat.

By bringing natural elements into the workplace, Co-living Office Garden replaces the monotony of enclosed office cubicles with a setting people can experience, interact with and shape together.

03. Materials That Give Form to Design
Resistance to Weathering and Strong UV Exposure
Engineered for demanding exterior applications, 21PARKHOUSE® Natural Wood flexible stone has undergone over 2,000 hours of accelerated weathering and UV exposure testing (simulating 30–50 years of outdoor durability). It maintains structural stability, crack resistance, and colorfastness in tropical, high-humidity, and high-heat climates across Indonesia, India, and Saudi Arabia.
For this project, Natural Wood provides a seamless, monolithic aesthetic across both interior and exterior envelopes. Its specialized polymeric-mineral matrix ensures superior adhesive bonding without risk of hollowing or detachment over time.

Formaldehyde-Free & Low-VOC Material
21PARKHOUSE® flexible stone is 100% formaldehyde-free and fully compliant with commercial green building standards (such as LEED and WELL). Engineered with a specialized internal microporous structure, the material actively adsorbs and decomposes airborne volatile organic compounds (including formaldehyde, benzene series, and TVOCs), enabling rapid occupancy turnover with zero pungent fit-out odours.

Bendable Sheets for Curved & Organic Facades
With a minimum bending radius of R ≥ 200 mm, flexible stone easily follows organic curves, barrel vaults, arched portals, and irregular architectural profiles. Weighing only a fraction of traditional timber or stone, sheets can be easily handled, stacked, or packaged compactly for efficient jobsite logistics and reduced freight costs.

At Co-living Office Garden, the continuous wood-grain finish connects sculptural arches, planted terraces and interior walls. 21PARKHOUSE® flexible stone gives architects a compliant, lightweight medium to execute expressive nature-integrated architecture.
