One Bangkok is a new landmark rising in the heart of the Thai capital. Conceived as a future-focused ecological mixed-use district, it brings offices, retail, hospitality, culture and public space together within a carefully planned urban environment.
Guided by a vertical-forest concept, the development integrates tropical planting into the city fabric while drawing on Bangkok's architectural heritage. The result is a contemporary destination in which material, landscape and structure work together to balance aesthetics, function and environmental responsibility.

01. An Urban Landmark
Creating an Artistic Pulse in the Heart of Bangkok
One Bangkok was jointly developed by TCC Assets Co., Ltd. and Frasers Property. As one of Thailand's largest integrated developments, it has often been described as the country's answer to Hudson Yards.

Its "Heart of Bangkok" design concept takes inspiration from the rhythm of the tropical monsoon and the cultural memory of the ancient city. Modern architectural language is combined with Thai traditions to create a commercial environment that feels natural, relaxed and artistic.

02. Carving Nature
A Poetic Balance Between Modernity and Raw Material
Presented as Southeast Asia's first commercial development designed around full-life-cycle carbon neutrality, One Bangkok places sustainability at the centre of its material strategy. 21PARKHOUSE® Roman Travertine flexible stone was selected to support the project's environmental, functional and artistic goals.

The exterior columns use staggered three-dimensional joints to build depth and rhythm across the facade. The weathered pores and layered tones of Roman Travertine contrast with the clean architectural lines, adding the warmth and visual character of natural stone without the weight of conventional slabs.

03. Flexible Stone
A Contemporary Response to Ecological Art
Ageing Resistance and UV Performance
After 2,000 hours of artificial ageing testing, the material is designed for an estimated outdoor service life of approximately 30–50 years under suitable installation and maintenance conditions. Its resistance to ultraviolet exposure makes it suitable for high-sun markets such as Thailand and Indonesia.

Recreating Natural Materials
Advanced three-dimensional coating techniques reproduce the depth and tactile character of stone, wood and woven surfaces. For this project, Roman Travertine recreates the irregular pores, tonal variation and mineral texture associated with natural travertine.

Lightweight Material and Controlled Project Costs
At approximately 3–6 kg/m², flexible stone is considerably lighter than conventional stone cladding. It can be installed by direct wet bonding without a dry-hanging system, helping simplify construction, reduce structural load and control total project cost. Its flexibility also allows it to adapt to columns, corners and other complex or customised forms.

By combining natural texture, lightweight construction and practical installation, Roman Travertine gives the One Bangkok facade a refined material identity while supporting the project's broader ecological vision.
