Tyros Line Stone
We drew inspiration from the natural linear striations of Tyros stone quarried from the Greek island of Tinos—where centuries of geological formation have created fine, parallel ridges and subtle tonal layers in soft whites and beiges. These stones, long used in Cycladic architecture for their understated elegance, inspired our texture: we replicated their precise linear grain and muted color palette to capture the quiet, sun-dappled charm of Greek coastal design, merging the timeless simplicity of Tyros stone with the adaptability of modern flexible material.
Texture
This flexible stone mirrors the signature character of Greek Tyros stone: fine, uniformly spaced parallel ridges that create a subtle linear grain (soft to the touch, with gentle dimensionality) paired with a matte, velvety finish. Tonal variations are understated-blending pale whites, warm sand beiges, and faint mineral flecks-echoing the natural layers of the original Tyros quarries. Its malleable base preserves the precise, delicate ridge detail even on curved surfaces, merging the refined texture of natural Greek stone with the practicality of modern flexible material.
