Rosewood Sanya occupies an exclusive position along the pristine shores of Haitang Bay, commanding breathtaking panoramic views of the ocean. Every room is designed as a prime vantage point, while the property itself is a visual journey where every step reveals a new scene imbued with artistic charm.

The corridors and guest rooms are bathed in a light, airy palette. Extensive wood grain interiors serve as a foundational element, imparting a sense of rustic simplicity and gentle warmth to the space.

True to its status as an ultra-luxury resort, Rosewood Sanya has spared no effort in crafting its culinary experiences. The property boasts five distinct restaurants and lounges. Their ceiling designs, featuring woven hemp and masonry textures respectively, achieve a seamless fusion of local island heritage and exotic flair.

The hotel consistently maintains an aesthetic of minimalist luxury and natural serenity. The walls predominantly feature 21Parkhouse® Flexible Stone (Chiba Wood), while the ceilings are finished with 21Parkhouse® Flexible Stone (W-Weave) and White Split Brick.

Eastern culture cherishes a deep affinity for wood and a reverence for nature. Yet, the inherent drawbacks of raw wood and rattan—such as potential formaldehyde emissions and susceptibility to moisture and rot—have long deterred many designers.
The hotel's coastal location, characterized by high humidity and corrosive salt mist, further complicated material selection during the initial design phase. To address these critical challenges, the design team customized a cutting-edge solution: 21Parkhouse® Flexible Stone. Resistant to water, salt mist, and UV rays, this material replaced traditional wood and hemp textures on walls and ceilings throughout the property—even in high-moisture zones like pool suites and bathrooms.

Since the hotel's opening in 2017, the product has retained 95% of its original condition.
# Water & Salt Mist Resistance
With a water absorption rate of merely 8-10%, 21Parkhouse® Flexible Stone ensures that wall surfaces remain dry and corrosion-free, even in environments characterized by high humidity and salinity.
Its specialized molecular structure delivers exceptional resistance to water and salt mist, safeguarding the product's longevity in coastal regions.

# Porous Structure, Lightweight & Breathable
Its breathable, porous structure provides a vast filtration surface area and high adsorption capacity.
Beyond being inherently formaldehyde-free, the material actively decomposes airborne impurities. When applied to ≥50% of the interior wall surface, it effectively neutralizes post-renovation odors within just 15 days. This efficiency facilitated a rapid hotel opening and garnered widespread guest acclaim from the very start.

# Aging Resistance
Coastal buildings often lack shading. Compounded by sunlight reflecting off the ocean and sand, they are subjected to intense UV radiation, which accelerates exterior wall aging and detachment.
While the standard accelerated aging test for ordinary coatings is just 250 hours, 21Parkhouse® Flexible Stone withstands up to 3,500 hours—equivalent to 50 years of outdoor service life. Even under prolonged exposure to intense sunlight, it remains resilient against cracking and degradation.

Tailored for coastal regions and aligned with the sophisticated aesthetics of high-end clientele, 21Parkhouse® Flexible Stone achieves a perfect balance of performance and beauty. It delivers exceptional resistance to water, moisture, salt mist, and aging, alongside rapid odor adsorption. By flawlessly preserving the authentic textures of wood, weaving, and stone, it empowers designers to fully realize their spatial visions.
